BMW Electronaut is an iPad app located in dealerships across the country to teach customers about the benefits of driving an electric vehicle. After an introductory video, the user is given the option to enter their average miles driven per year. From there they can see all sorts of useful information about how an electric vehicle will help them. The app displays environmental impact, money saved and locations around you that can be reached on one full charge of the electric vehicle (EV) battery. Another section goes more into the technology that’s inside an EV. And lastly, there’s an area to view leasing information.
